Saprem Namaskar Dearest Friends,
This here is a blog (renewed from the detritus of times past) to log my summer in India. So far, the torrid heat has rendered my days way too sluggish to be productive beyond studying Hindi in my room. Nonetheless, the monsoon should pick up steam by next week. Jaipur is a friendly city (with more amenities than I imagined). I live next to a wonderful park (named after Sayed Bhagat Singh, out of all people) and I have been making trips around my sector of the city to sample the best chai and chaat. In the coming weeks, I'm going to take a class or two on how to spin Khaddi, if only for reasons of reciprocity.
Health is super, the camels do not smell 'that' bad and I can now play cricket with a modicum of sophistication.
I have a newly discovered love of sweets -- considering how much I despised them in the past (especially the jalebis in Bihar).
More soon. I promise.
Pyar,
Sean
